The 2015 season comes to a close without any major successes. The 1sts finished 4th having been challanging for the title until the last few games and the 2nd team, on their return to the top flight, a very creditable 5th place despite a shortage of players towards the end of the season. The Sunday's finished their first season with a comfortable mid table position. However the 1st team did get to the Parish Cup final and there were two exceptional individual performances with the 1st teams opening bowler Jack Earle taking 73 wickets and 2nd team Skipper, Tom Russell making over 1000 league runs.
The ground and facilities of the club continue to be amongst the very best our league can offer and we are already planning for next year with an upgrade to the bar and clubroom plus additional sightbords being added. It is our aim to continue the development of the ground with more new projects over the coming seasons.
We would like to thank our main sponsor, The Old Gate Bar & Restaurant and our new Ball sponsor for 2014, Taylors Bacon Packers. We also have several new banner sponsors for this year, Royd Ices, The Robin Hood, Russell Dean and Foamworks who are offering a free car wash to the player of the week. They are joining with the existing sponsors in supporting our club. They are Fitton & Co,Bob Wild, Springhill, The Ark and Space, Cragg Energy, Microsearch, The Hinchliffe Arms, Fired Up, SMA car auctions, Pure Travel and Upsy Daisy's. We are very grateful to all our sponsors for the support given to the club.
