I took over as Secretary in 2011 following the tragic death of Keith Goulden. Prior to this I was on the Executive as the League Child Welfare Officer.

I am also Secretary of Queensbury CC, and have been so since anyone can remember!

Although I am a non-driver I have a stout pair of shoes, a cooperative wife (Denise) and an intimate knowledge of local taxi firms.

"If you request it...................he  will come!"

Personal Cricketing Highlights

Playing for Cumbria Schools (U19) and Under 21 sides.

Batting with my son James in a first team game against Luddendenfoot when he objected to them sledging me for batting slowly (what's new?)

My daughter Heather becoming the youngest person ever to pass her ACUS exams.

Scoring a half century and taking 2 catches when Queensbury (bottom of division 2 at the time) beat Premiership Bradshaw in the Parish Cup.
