The next League Council Meeting on Tuesday 2nd October at 7.45pm has been moved from Pellon Social Club to Copley C.C as a one off because the league require a venue that is more suitable to present from a big screen to member clubs. A working party has been busy working on a new league website and on and off line scoring system which will be launched for the 2019 season. At the meeting the new website will be unveiled to clubs along with the new scoring facilty which will enable electronic scoring of games in 2019 alongside the conventional way by traditional cricket scorebook. This will mark an exciting new chapter in the development of the Spenser WIlson Halifax Cricket League as we embrace new technology to enhance our cricket offer in the future. In addition the meeting will be announcing the results of the proposed rules changes which have distributed to member clubs to vote on, Greetland and Cullingworth will be applying for re-election to the league and a there will be a presentation from Huddersfield Drakes side Golcar C.C who have applied to join the HCL Sunday Section for next season. We look forward to seeing all clubs represented at this meeting but please make sure your club representtaive is aware of the change of venue please to Copley.
